Six aspiring engineers from regional and rural Australia have been awarded the 2026 Kim Jackson Scholarship to pursue engineering at The Australian National University (ANU).
The new cohort – Lani Cooper, Jessica Martin, Georgina Kimpton, Annabella Tyrrell, Hannah Day and Phoebe Raisbeck – will begin their studies next year at the ANU School of Engineering.
The scholarship, established by ANU alumna and Skip Foundation co-founder Kim Jackson, is awarded annually to inspire and empower women from non-metropolitan areas to pursue engineering at the University.
It provides students with $25,000 per year during their engineering degree, along with mentoring, wrap-around support, and access to a dedicated study space on campus.
The University congratulates the six new scholars and looks forward to welcoming them to campus in the new year.
